Questions worth asking before you join.
- Which of the three is right for me?
- If you're climbing — building visibility, learning to translate your work — start with the CMP Network. If you're already senior and independent (a consultant, advisor, or fractional leader), The Architects gives you peer access and direct time with industry experts. If you lead a security team and want the whole bench to move, CMP for Teams is built for that.
- What does 'founder' mean — and what happens after Year 1?
- Anyone who joins while there are founder seats left becomes a founding member, with Year 1 of Network membership free. From Year 2 onward, membership continues at $120/year — you can cancel any time. Founders keep their founder status permanently; the free Year 1 is the founder perk.
- I lead a team but I'd also like the Architects benefits. Which do I pick?
- CMP for Teams. It covers your team's development and includes your own participation. The Architects is designed for senior practitioners without a team budget — consultants, advisors, independents. If you have a team, Teams gets you more for the same conversation.
- How does CMP for Teams actually start?
- With a Team Diagnostic. Your team takes the assessment, and you get one aggregate report showing where the bench is strong and where it's thin — visibility at the top, business fluency, succession risk. From there we scope a 3-month programme around the gaps that matter most. Programmes are invoiced to the company.
- How does The Architects application work?
- Tell us about your role, where you're at in the climb, and what you're working on. Each application is reviewed personally. We respond within a week. If all 100 seats are filled there's a waitlist.
- Is the community public?
- No. The directory, The Architects channel, and any discussions are members-only. Your toolkit answers are never shared.
